EFFECTIVE 4/13/12:  As we all know March was the driest March on record.  Krupp Construction has made good use of the mild weather.  They have excavated and rocked in the roadway from the Park entrance to Lisa Marie Ct.  They have erected silt fence around all of the storm sewers in anticipation of the rain over the weekend.  They have also constructed all of the concrete curb and base asphalt from Antrill to the Park entrance.  They will resume constructing concrete curb and gutter this week.  Once the curbs have adequate cure time Krupp will pave the asphalt base.  Once that paving is complete (sometime this week), they will continue excavating on to Tesson Ferry Rd.  As that excavation occurs, the concrete crew will follow constructing the remaining curb and gutter.  The final layer of asphalt will be laid after the entire roadway is completed to ensure a smooth driving pavement.

The walking/bike trail is complete from the Antrill trailhead east to Lin Valle.  The sod contractor is scheduled to come this week to seed & straw as well as sod.  We are planning to seed all of the non-residential areas (except for Clydesdale Park, per our agreement with St. Louis County).  We have elected to seed rather than sod primarily due to the fact that we consider it unlikely that any of the abutting property owners will water the sod if placed as originally proposed.  In addition, the concrete island at Kohrs will be removed this week, paved over and restriped to maintain the proper lane alignment.

Krupp is anticipating a June 1 completion date.

EFFECTIVE 3/19/12:

All retaining wall construction has been completed.  The roadway is completely reconstructed from Antrill east to Lin Valle.  Weather permitting, Krupp will begin constructing the walking trail from the Clydesdale trailhead at Antrill east to Lin Valle the week of March 19.  Once that portion of the trail is complete, finish grading and sodding will be completed for that portion of the Green Park Road.  The concrete curb and gutter has been completed on the south side of Green Park Road from Antrill to the end of Clydesdale Park (the crest of Green Park Road between Lisa Marie Court and Tesson Ferry).  The remaining curb and gutter cannot be reconstructed without completely shutting down Green Park Road during working hours.  Residents will have access to their driveways after 4 p.m. each day.  Krupp anticipates that these daily closures will begin on Monday, March 19th.  Krupp has previously worked closely with affected residents to maintain their access and accommodate their daily activities when they can.  We have experienced little to no problem with these types of issues.

EFFECTIVE 3/13/12:

Green Park Road will have partial closures throughout this week between Mueller and Antrill.  The road will be closed to thru traffic.

Green Park Road will be closed between Kohrs and Antril starting Monday, March 19th, until Wednesday, March 21st.

Green Park Road will be closed between Antrill and the east entrance to the County Park starting Thursday, March 22nd, for about 3 weeks for road removal, curb and gutter work, and base pavement.

These areas will be closed to thru traffic.  The road will be closed to all traffic in these areas during the daytime hours from 6:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

EFFECTIVE 12/29/11:    

Green Park Road from Lin Valle to Tesson Ferry (Highway 21) will be open to local traffic only during the winter months.  There will be temporary, daytime only, road closures during this time.  The contractor will be doing retaining wall work during the winter and whatever else they can do weather permitting.  Hopefully in March the contractor will start the road removal and replacement between Antrill and Tesson Ferry Road.  The projected completion was slated for the end of 2011 but with the delays by Missouri American water relocating three water mains the road project has been extended into 2012.  The anticipated completion time is for June 2012.

GREEN PARK BRIDGE PROJECT:

This project has been completed.

Green Park Road bridge is now open!  The new Green Park Road bridge over Gravois Creek opened to traffic Friday afternoon, October 7th.  Concrete Strategies is currently removing that portion of the bypass road that was located on the grassy area next to Diansupply’s building.  Site restoration is ongoing.  The project should be completely finished within the next 10 days.

The restaurant has seating for 69 people and includes a drive-thru and outside seating.  Hours of operation will be Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
